Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TradeVault Pro ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the service at tradevaultpro.app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

TradeVault Pro is a professional trading journal SaaS application that enables traders to log trades, analyse performance metrics, manage multiple trading accounts, and build trading habits through journaling tools. The service is provided "as is" and is accessible via web browser at tradevaultpro.app.

The service includes a free tier with unlimited access to the core journaling and charting tools, and a paid tier that unlocks advanced analytics, full CSV import from 15+ brokers, the Trading Score, unlimited trade logging, Playbook, and Daily Review features.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use TradeVault Pro. By using the service, you represent that you are at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support [at] tradevaultpro.app if you suspect any unauthorized use.

4. Free Tier

TradeVault Pro offers a free tier with no expiration date. Free users have unlimited access to the TradingView charting tools and core journaling functionality. The free tier has no time limit and does not require a credit card.

Certain advanced features — including full analytics, CSV import, Trading Score, Playbook, and Daily Review — are available on the paid plan only.

5. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial of the paid plan with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, your account reverts to the free tier unless you subscribe. Your data is always preserved.

6. Subscription & Billing

• Paid subscriptions are available on a monthly ($19.99/month) or annual basis ($191.99/year) at a discounted rate
• All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Manage Billing. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current paid period; your account then reverts to the free tier
• We do not provide refunds for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, sell, or transfer your account credentials to any other person
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or redistribute any part of the Service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract data from the Service
• Attempt to circumvent the subscription system
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the infrastructure

Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

8. Your Data & Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all trading data, notes, and content you input into TradeVault Pro. We claim no rights over your trading data. You can export your complete data at any time via Settings → Export JSON.

TradeVault Pro's software, design, brand, and codebase are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reproduced without explicit written permission.

9. Important Disclaimer — Not Financial Advice

TradeVault Pro is strictly a journaling and analytics tool. Nothing in this service constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading recommendations, or trading signals of any kind.

Performance data, statistics, and metrics displayed in the application reflect only your own historical trades and are provided for informational purposes only. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making trading or investment decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TradeVault Pro and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: trading losses, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Service Availability

We aim for maximum uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support [at] tradevaultpro.app. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently erased within 30 days.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
