We collect only the data necessary to provide our service:

• Account data: Your email address and encrypted password when you register. We never store plain-text passwords.
• Trading data: Trade entries, notes, setups, playbook entries, daily reviews, and account settings that you manually input or import from your broker.
• Payment data: Subscription billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never store your card number, CVV, or any sensitive payment information — only a Stripe customer ID.
• Usage analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how users navigate our site (pages visited, session duration, referral sources). This data is aggregated and anonymised.
• Technical data: Session tokens and browser preferences (such as dark/light mode) stored in your browser's local storage.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, operate, and maintain the TradeVault Pro service
• To process subscription payments and manage your billing via Stripe
• To send transactional emails: account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts
• To analyse product usage and improve features via Google Analytics
• To respond to your support requests

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a secure cloud database provided by Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. We enforce row-level security (RLS) on all tables — this means your trading data is cryptographically isolated so that only your authenticated session can access it. Not other users, and not our team.

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS and encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is strictly limited and logged.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data with the following service providers, strictly to operate the service:

• Google Analytics — anonymised website analytics. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

We may also disclose data if required by applicable law or legal process.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to erasure: Request deletion of your account and all associated data ("right to be forgotten")

7. Cookies & Local Storage

TradeVault Pro uses:

• Essential cookies: Session authentication tokens required to keep you logged in
• Preference storage: Your theme preference (dark/light mode) stored in browser local storage
• Google Analytics cookies: _ga, _gid cookies used to track anonymised usage statistics. These can be blocked via your browser or the Google opt-out tool above

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or any third-party tracking beyond Google Analytics.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, all your personal data and trading data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems within 30 days.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located in the United States (AWS, Supabase). These transfers are governed by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, ensuring adequate protection of your data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via an in-app notice. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TradeVault Pro ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the service at tradevaultpro.app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

TradeVault Pro is a professional trading journal SaaS application that enables traders to log trades, analyse performance metrics, manage multiple trading accounts, and build trading habits through journaling tools. The service is provided "as is" and is accessible via web browser at tradevaultpro.app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use TradeVault Pro. By using the service, you represent that you are at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support [at] tradevaultpro.app if you suspect any unauthorized use.

4. Free Plan

TradeVault Pro offers a free plan with no expiration date. Free users have unlimited access to the TradingView charting tools, basic dashboard, and can log up to 25 trades. The free plan requires no credit card and has no time limit.

Certain advanced features — including full analytics, CSV import from 15+ brokers, Trading Score, Playbook, and Daily Review — are available on the paid plan only.

5. Subscription & Billing

• Paid subscriptions are available on a monthly ($19.99/month) or annual basis ($191.99/year) at a discounted rate
• All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Manage Billing. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current paid period; your account then reverts to the free plan
• We do not provide refunds for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, sell, or transfer your account credentials to any other person
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or redistribute any part of the Service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract data from the Service
• Attempt to circumvent the paywall or subscription system
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the infrastructure

Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

7. Your Data & Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all trading data, notes, and content you input into TradeVault Pro. We claim no rights over your trading data. You can export your complete data at any time via Settings → Export JSON.

TradeVault Pro's software, design, brand, and codebase are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reproduced without explicit written permission.

8. Important Disclaimer — Not Financial Advice

TradeVault Pro is strictly a journaling and analytics tool. Nothing in this service constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading recommendations, or trading signals of any kind.

Performance data, statistics, and metrics displayed in the application reflect only your own historical trades and are provided for informational purposes only. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making trading or investment decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TradeVault Pro and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: trading losses, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We aim for maximum uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support [at] tradevaultpro.app. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently erased within 30 days.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Is my trading data safe and private?

Yes. Your data is stored securely in a cloud database with row-level security — meaning only you can ever access your trades, even our team cannot. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Can I use TradeVault Pro for my prop firm account?

Absolutely. TradeVault Pro supports multiple accounts so you can track your funded account, evaluation account, and personal account separately — each with their own analytics and balance tracking.

Do I need to enter trades manually?

No. You can import your full trade history via CSV from 15+ supported brokers and platforms. You can also log trades manually or directly from the Live Charts view — whichever fits your workflow.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes, cancel anytime with no questions asked. Your data remains accessible and you keep access until the end of your billing period. No hidden fees or cancellation penalties.

Is there a free plan?

Yes — free forever, no credit card required, no expiration date. Free users can log up to 25 trades and access: Live TradingView charts, basic dashboard (P&L, win rate, equity curve), trade calendar, and multiple account tracking. Analytics, CSV import, Trading Score, Playbook, and Daily Review are paid-only features. Upgrade to Pro ($19.99/mo) to unlock everything with unlimited trades.

What markets can I journal?

TradeVault Pro supports all major markets — Futures (ES, NQ, CL, GC and more), Forex, Stocks, Crypto, and Options. Micro and mini contracts (MES, MNQ, MYM, etc.) are fully supported with the correct multipliers so your P&L is always accurate.

What is the Trading Score?

The Trading Score is a 0–1000 rating that measures your overall performance across 6 components: Win Rate, Profit Factor, Average R-Multiple, Discipline (from your daily reviews), Consistency, and Journal Streak. It gives you a single number to track your growth over time, with tiers from Developing all the way to Professional.

Can I use TradeVault Pro on mobile?

Yes. TradeVault Pro is fully responsive and works on any device through your mobile browser — no app download required. Log trades, check your dashboard, and review your performance on the go.

How do I delete my account and data?
